"One nation under God, indivisible, with liberty, and justice for all." As Americans, during the last half century we have tested the boundaries our forefathers handed down to us; with each passing political cycle, we place our hope in one political movement after another, only to discover that peace and freedom cannot be found in the works of man. In The Final Branch: Reflecting on the Heart of America, author Jeffrey J. DiQuattro reflects on the cornerstones of American liberty-the Constitution, the Bill of Rights, the Declaration of Independence, and the final branch, faith-and argues that, by returning to these basic principles, America can recapture her providential purpose-Liberty for All! With accessible, thoughtful writing, DiQuattro presents seven concise sections that address American culture and the challenges confronting it, the country's heritage, and the role of faith in both the founding of America and her future. Biblical accounts are reflected in America's founding documents, and The Final Branch strives to help us understand how this is applicable to our lives, our liberty, and our pursuit of happiness. The precipice on which American culture rests can be avoided. Americans know the gift of freedom, and DiQuattro issues a challenge and a call for Americans to return to the simplicity of our roots and the conviction of our faith. By becoming personally connected with the cornerstones of liberty, we can achieve the goals of our forefathers and usher in a rebirth of liberty!

Like the Washington monument DiQuattro used as a reference point in D.C., Di Quattro's book underscores the fact that we're lost and re-orients us in the direction we should go - back to the Bible and the founding principles of this nation.

We should be thankful that DiQuattro has taken up the task many of us have put off far too long. He addresses the congnitive dissonance which many experience when they see the crassness, vulgarity, excessive consumption, and live-for-today tomorrow-be-damned attitudes that seem the norm in today's America - an America that surely is not what our forefathers had hoped to bestow on future generations. One imagines that DiQuattro needed the move to the clear vistas of western Texas to achieve the clarity he delivers in this timely book - a very readible book which should lead every American who invests the time to read it, to ponder, pray and take action in one's own circle of influence.

Wow!!!! This book replenished my love of country, love of people and sense of character. I simply could not put it down. It was as if this was me and my thoughts as I journeyed through each and every chapter. My America, my values, my beliefs.. simply breathtaking and a must read for anyone who loves this great country and the virtues upon which it was founded on. Yes we are an imprefect nation with many stains we are not proud of, but the underlying thread of freedom, religion and love separates us from the rest of the world. Even if you disagree with some parts, TheFinalBranch is a must read.
Can't wait to read again

The Final Branch: Reflecting On the Heart of America Finally, a book to bring us back to basic Christian morals of where we used to be and where we should be to restore the heart of America. Covers areas of truth and values that have gradually eroded over the decades. Shakes you up to the reality that we have been the silent majority for far too long!
Makes you want to shout "WAKE UP AMERICA...AND STAND UP"!

This book contains great Truths and direction that our country needs to take. We are in a time when we need to understand the "times" much like the sons of Issachar did. A great book.
