John Quincy Adams (1874-1933) was an Austrian painter. He studied at the Academy of Fine Arts in Vienna and in Paris at the Academie Julian. His father, Carl Adams, opera tenor, was a Bostonian, and performed from 1867 to 1877 at the Vienna Court Opera. The President of the United States John Quincy Adams was his ancestor.
