I just finished reading Dr. Gary L. Wood's book, "A Place Called Heaven". This has just become one of my favorite Christian books, outside of The Holy Bible. Gary's experience, from dying, going to Heaven, and coming back to be used by God to set the captives free and bring them to The Truth, Jesus Christ, is one of the most awesome ways I have seen God use a Christian. Growing up in the Baptist church, I also did not know that there was more of God, besides salvation, until my daughter was also miraculously healed by The Holy Spirit. Let us use Gary's experience as a model of how we can be healed, delivered, and used by God for His Kingdom.

This book also opens our eyes to the reality of Heaven and Hell, with not one, but 2 testimonies! Another man shares his story of how he too was killed in an auto accident and went to heaven. However this man was on his way to Hell, until Jesus spared his life by granting Gary's prayer request to bring him back. Then the man accepted Jesus as Lord, and is on his way to Heaven.

Heaven's a wonderful place, and I'm going!!! Are you?

This book is so powerful and amazing. I stumbled across this after seeing an interview about a nuerosurgeon getting sick and going to Heaven. I started researching and found this. Not only does Gary give an vivid description of Heaven he is a walking talking miracle. Many doctors doubted him until they did their own research and saw x-rays. This book also shows us what we need to be doing as a Christian and believer in Christ. It is our DUTY to reach the unreached and share the love of God. Jesus is real and Heaven is realy. It time that we wake up and do what we are called to do. We are living in the last days and never have I ever felt a calling and a burning fire down in me to go and do what God wants me to do. I grew up in church went to a Christian University read my bible tithe volunteered and everything else but my RELATIONSHIP with Christ was lacking. My works will not get me into Heaven I must have a solid relationship with him and follow his commandments. His is given us so many opportunities to get right before it's too late. I've been sharing this book with many belieivers and unbelievers. God is good and his mercy endureth forever!!

It appears everyone who goes to heaven has more and more to share about heaven. I believe heaven is a real place, a place where many of my family are now living and where I will live someday. I appreciated what he shared about the aborted babies, the tears that God keeps, his unfinished mansion, the book where our names are placed because we have accepted Jesus, the fact he could talk to someone who knew him from the earthly walk. I have ready many books about heaven and this one just seem to make it more and more real to me. I would recommend this book to anyone who is curious about a place called heaven.

After I had te pleasure of hearing Dr,. Wood in person, I downloaded to my Kindle the book as soon as I got home. I wanted the WHOLE story, to make sure I got it all. Having just lost my mother, I wanted to know everything I can about where she is now (she was a committed Christian). There are challenges that come in the telling relevant to our lives now. The "unclaimed Blessings Room" full of blessings God has sent to us on earth that we didn't have the faith to claim.

He truly is a miracle that lives to spread Jesus' truth. This is a Mus read for everyone....Christian or not.

I just finished reading this book and it is fabulous!! I've always wondered if it were true that people could actually die, claim to see God...or visit heaven. I have no doubts that Mr. Wood had this happen to him. What a glorious feeling I would get when reading some of his descriptions of his journey to heaven and back!!! Easily a 5 star rating.

What a wonderful testimony of the goodness of God. Only God could have done this true miracle. No matter what religion you happen to be this book tells that God is the same yesterday today and forever when it comes to His miracles and the Baptism of the Holy Spirit with angelic tongues. Very insightful read.
This book brings insight and revelation to the afterlife like I have never read before. It is beautifully written and the attention to detail in the descriptions are exceptional. It makes heaven so real and the books lends a calming effect to the thouight of the afterlife for any believer. A must-read.
