Guy Fawkes was born in England in 1570. Under King James I's Protestant rule, Guy saw many of his Catholic friends suffer persecution. He got involved with a group of Catholics in a secret plan to blow up the king and the Houses of Parliament. This was the Gunpowder Plot of 1605. However, the plot failed and Guy was caught and executed. This book tells the story of his life.
