Good children's book.

After reading about Mary Anning in our book club I remembered one of my favorite stories in a fourth grade reading book. (I am a retired teacher). The story inspired my son to become an avid fossil collector at an early age. I decided to try to find that story to save for any of my future grandchildren and there it was. Now all I need is some grandchildren.

This is a beautifully illustrated non-fiction picture book about a young girl who greatly contributed to science and the early discovery of fossils. Mary Anning’s tale is one of determination, passion, and shows no matter what your age, gender or station in life you can achieve much.
