Is a good read. Is very helpful for anyone looking for insight into the possibility of homeschooling, or just wanting to get more information on the public school system. The text exposes things about the public system that you wouldn't know, like the way kids are disciplined (as in not), concept of self love / self esteem revolution. Schools won't necessarily teach the most effective or efficient method to learn, rather kids get the end result of the all mighty dollar. Exposes how schools are about dividing the kids from the parents, to get control of their minds. That there's no absolute truth. Most importantly, this book will give you the confidence to go ahead and home-school your children if you so wish.

This book is a must read to protect your child from the indoctrination or brainwashing that is taking place in our schools. Our children are not being educated in the classical sense but are being molded to fit the socialist model of workforce development where your child(ren) are viewed as "human capital."

This book is a must have for any parent. I would find it hard to believe that any Christian parent after reading this book won't come away without having been changed by it for the good. Be warned though, after reading this book there is no excuse for any Christian parent not to reconsidered the public school system. This book is definitely calls out the Christian parent to realize that they are accountable to God for their child's education and safety.

The information contained in the book seems to be well researched. The authors are passionate and direct. It is a must read for every Christian family. If you are planning on sending your kids to public schools, you need to read this book in order to know what you are up against. It comes from a strong Christian perspective. The book does not bash teachers, but brings to ones attention that the system that is controlled by the government has an agenda and it's not one that Christians should want their most prized possessions, their children, to be a part of. It encourages parents to teach/disciple their own children instead of putting undue trust in the government to do so. They will teach/disciple them, no doubt. But, don't be surprised at the outcome. One of the quotes in the book states, "If you send your kids to Ceasar, don't be surprised if they come back as Romans." (Voddie Baucham) Read this book and then make an educated decision as to how and where your children will be educated.

A must read! Very informative by shedding so much light on the current state of the American "educational" system. This is the book that no liberal wants read, outside of the Holy Bible.

Loved reading the insights shared by everyone interviewed, and although my family has already made the leap to home education, this book solidified that decision. A highly recommended read!
I don't care for the Southern Baptist viewpoint, or the subsequent Calvinism, on show throughout most of the book, but overall, the education viewpoints were wonderful. I'd recommend anyone to read this book, as well as watch the documentary of the same name.
