A wonderful book for learning carpentry. com User, December 11, 2008. I picked this book up along many years ago to learn the fundamentals of carpentry for some home repairs. Whether I do them myself or hire a pro I like to know what's going on and understand best practices. This book was outstanding. From the way timber is cut into lumber to how to make precisely angled cut for trestles this book is invaluable to me.
