Little Black Girl Lost Series Keith Lee Johnson. Mr. Johnson I'm not disappointed. This was an excellent sequel-sequel. I remember all the characters from the previous novels and it was nice to be reacquainted with them, and I really enjoyed the epilogue of the book as well. Little Black Girl Lost.

Written by Keith Lee Johnson, Audiobook narrated by Beresford Bennett. Set in 1950s New Orleans, Little Black Girl Lost is a powerful tale filled with sex, greed, and the explosive political and social climates of an America long gone. Fifteen-year-old beauty Johnnie Wise lives her life devoted to God. But her innocence is shattered when her mother, who has been a prostitute for years, sells Johnnie's body to lecherous insurance man Earl Shamus.

Wearing a white bathing suit that showed off her tight body, Marguerite was lying on a cushioned lawn chair by the pool at the Savoy, thinking about Johnnie’s beautiful home. ted in an affluent colored neighborhood, replete with professionals of every genre. Their money notwithstanding, they were just like the poor coloreds where she lived. According to Sadie, the husbands were hardworking men who provided for their families, and their wives were church-going hypocrites who gave them hell every night then wondered why they ran around on them.

Johnnie Wise's colorful past resurfaces when her stockbroker is killed and two hundred and fifty thousand dollars of his money goes missing. Will she be able to land on her feet this time-or has her luck finally run out?
Keith Lee Johnson takes us back to the tale of now 17 year old Johnnie Wise. In this installation - the love of her life Lucas is locked away in prison, she still has mob boss Napolean willing to do anything for her and she's dealing with the aftermath of 3 murders at the Beauregard estate. After the deaths questions are raised and these questions have to be answered - and these questions always involve Johnnie Wise. What is Johnnie's connections to three unsolved deaths and what is the connection to her new found wealth? Rumor and innuendo are abound in New Orleans and tongue's are wagging. Ms. Johnson weaves a quick tale that resurrects previous character's such as Earl Shamus, Mrs. Shamus, Billy Logan, Ethel Beauregard, Katherine, Morgan and a cast of other characters.

Sit back and enjoy this tale - but is the saga of Johnnie Wise REALLY over???
The “Little Black Girl Lost” series provides an excellent read depicting the story of many African-American women throughout history who have believed that they only had one tool to survival. It is emotionally moving as you reflect on ancestral history, heart-breaking challenges and hallelujah victories. It keeps you wondering what will happen next and leaves you wanting more when you reach the end. Great job Mr. Keith Lee Jackson!
the reason why i didn't give this book a 5 star, is because i want'd her and napoleon to hook up at least one more time. why did he have to go out like that!!! I HATED THAT SHE DIDN'T GET HER INHERITANCE. excellent .the book was an absolutely perfect ending of a wonderful triology. OH yeah why didn't her and lucas hook up at least once as well , why would he want to contact marla instead of johnnie upon his releash from prison. all 3 are DEFINITELY MUST READS!!! treat yourself!!!
Really good story line. My only problem is with all the grammar errors! It was so disheartening to see all the errors of such a good ebook. Nonetheless it was a good read.
Great book. Held my attention, which is difficult to do, Mr Johnson has a gift for words that make you hang on to each one, can't wait to get to the next page. Love his work.
Nice book with interesting characters and in relation to social issues.
grand star
Great book.... but wasn't expecting dt ending....wanted to keep readingggg
I read 1 and 2 and had to read 3. Little Black Girl Lost 3 was just as much, if not more a page turner than the first two. I felt like I was back in the 1950s. I loved all the characters, especially Johnny Wise and her best friend/neighbor. Too be so young and have so much knowledge. I loved the drama, but loved the ending even more. It was unexpected. Truly a great read.
