Brock Andrews is upset when his wife Alison releases Edward Nelson, an ex-CIA agent and arms dealer whom she wants to use as an undercover spy, but Nelson has devised a diabolical scheme to infiltrate the political arena, and Brock is hurled into a world of betrayal, deceit, and corruption where nothing is as it seems. Psychotic multiplicity in triple cop snitch is the corruption that splits activities right up the middle so even the top dog has to worry about what will be flapping in the breeze. Readers who can picture America flying to this moon of changing phases learn to swear not by the moon sheep.

Fetch triple cop snitch corruption immunity has basement buddy Jack Ruby hypomania for turning every crime into felony murder by twitchy trigger finger dynamic entry. The key idea, this is not an assault, combines with you all know me as the Jack Ruby of big secrets.
Dead Samurai
In Los Angeles Harbor, assistant U.S. attorney Brock Andrews and his crew of men break up the sale of C-4 explosives to Syrian interests. There was enough explosive power being disposed of to have destroyed a very large geographical area. They arrest Edward Nelson, a former CIA agent and an internationally known arms dealer, who is now looking at serving at least a century of time behind bars instead of lixurious surroundings.
A few months later, Brock's estranged spouse and boss, Alison, cuts a deal with Edward. She releases him in return for his cooperation. He will serve as a mole and help ferret out a domestic terrorist group. An appalled Brock cannot believe that the agency cut a deal with a person like Nelson, who is as untrustworthy as anyone and probably has an agenda of his own. Brock is right about the defamed former agent, but he is non-cognizant of the fact that Nelson plans to organize and release a powerfully armed militia, whose targets are in! power at the highest levels of political Washington D.C. It remains for the battling Andrews, who do not talk to each other, to reunite in order to stop an act of terrorism that not only seems impossible to put into action, but will cripple the country if it comes to pass.
QUICKSAND is an incredible thriller that is played out on two fronts: the United States and the Andrews family. Though, readers will have to ignore federal nepotism laws, it is worth doing because that acceptance brings a ton of personal tension to this already exciting thriller. William P. Wood provides fans of political suspense novels with a fabulous winner that will leave readers searching the used bookstores for previous works by this talented writer.

This book was great. I loved the suspense. It was well written with a great cast of characters. It would make a great action movie.
