Excellant referance book. This in-depth beginner's field guide which leads birdwatchers through the wonders of North American bird watching. The book goes into detail, explaining in full the diet, size, habitat, and other attributes of the birds. Additionally, there are simply great photographs (in full color) of each bird. Highly recommended.

I saw this at the library and decided it was a must-have reference. Excellent photos, information and helps with quick identification if deciding cranes, egrets or herons in the wild.
