She followed up and found very few of these ""friends"" who felt a reciprocal connection. She is only mildly alarmed.

I like this book very much - not another "I already know all this" or "I've already read this" for me. Ms. Rubin writes well, knows her stuff, and makes a lot of common sense. I'll be re-reading this one.

A scientific study that doesn't read like a journal article. There are several statistics scattered throughout the book, but this is a qualitative description with quotes and anecdotes, not charts and graphs. Very enjoyable.

As described, fast shipping. This was a good read about the value of firendship. Recommended for anyone who forgets how valueable friends are.
